As consumers, we are bombarded with advertisements and marketing messages every single day..It can be overwhelming, confusing, and often filled with jargon that we don't understand.
Our industry is no exception. We frequently use many terms that may seem common to us, but that most people aren’t necessarily familiar with.
Are Delta-8 and Delta-9 different types of commercial airliners? Are Nootropics a chain of islands recently discovered in the Caribbean? And isn’t Combretum Quadrangulare something you learned about in 10th grade Geometry class?
We don’t want there to be any confusion about any of our products, nor the ingredients we use to make them. As the demand for natural products continues to grow, ingredient transparency is more important than ever before. In most cases, the very reason many people choose to use natural products in the first place is because they want to avoid synthetic or harmful ingredients. Also, if a product contains an ingredient that someone is allergic to or cannot consume due to personal beliefs or medical reasons, it can have serious health consequences.
Consumers need to be able to make informed decisions about what they put into their bodies. It is our job to provide that crucial information.
Education is key to empowering individuals to make the right choices for themselves. In our business, it is also vital to gaining the trust of our customers and ensuring their safety. We are all about giving consumers the knowledge they need to understand complex concepts and navigate the marketplace with confidence.
We have the obligation as a GMP manufacturer to list clear and accurate ingredient information, which is something we take very seriously. But it is also our goal to make sure people understand exactly what those ingredients actually are.
To achieve this goal, we have created a glossary of common industry terms. This vocabulary list includes every ingredient that we use in all of our products, along with other important concepts and lingo, especially those related to quality and safety.
This glossary page will remain on our website for quick and easy reference. We will be sure to add any new terms or ingredients to this list as needed going forward.
You never know when there will be a pop quiz, so make sure to study up now!
